Labour 2030 returns for its 3rd edition on September 11–12 of 2025, at the iconic Alfândega do Porto. This international and forward-thinking congress brings together experts in Law, Economics, Technology, Human Resources, and Management to explore the major challenges and opportunities shaping the future of work.

Organized by the Law Academy, the event focuses on emerging topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, new forms of work and mental health, fostering a multidisciplinary space for open debate and the exchange of ideas.

Works can be presented through traditional seminars (20 minutes for each speaker) or poster presentations.

The best papers will be published by Editora Almedina in a book dedicated to the Congress. They will also be published in e-book format, which is expected to become a new academic trend for the future of work.

The Labour 2030 Programme includes a series of parallel sessions, with simultaneous translation available.

This edition focuses on change. Labour 2030 aims to accelerate real transformations in the world of work — towards a fairer, more resilient future that is truly people-centred.
